Még 100 kg urán kell. = We still need 100 kg of Uranium.

Még mindig hülye vagy! = You're still an idiot!

Még egyszer! Lééééégyszi! = One more time! Pleeeeeease!

I will also win the battle against "meg"

meg = and

Te meg hol voltál? = And where have you been?

Te meg én meghódítjuk a világot! = You and I will conquer the world!

Or do you mean the "meg" that we put in front of verbs like megölni, meglepni, megmenteni?
In which case good luck!

Thanks! However, I thought "and" was "és", what's the difference ? is "Meg" a bit more formal or anything ?

Anyway, my sparring partner is "még" indeed. So does it always mean "still, even" ?

Two words for the same thing. Although I think "és" is more used.

Julia, Júla és Jolán = Julia, Júla meg Jolán.

Anyway, my sparring partner is "még" indeed. So does it always mean "still, even" ?

Mostly,... most of the time... :whistle:

Ex:
Még jössz? = Are you still comming?
Hol van a nagyi? Még jól van? = Where's gradma? Is she still okay?

Szia újra!

Segitség… Magyar nehéz.

I'm having trouble talking to people online. So I thought I'd have conversations here.

It's just too much pressure on my brain to talk to people thru Skype. ANd I've had problems being shy. And it's been hard finding a conversation partner.. Besides that, it's just a little too difficult to suddenly dive into talking.

So… Would anyone like to chat here? You don't have to give real answers, just anything is fine. If u want, u can just correct me! Thank u :D Because I'm trying to learn the right sentence patterns for talking, so I can graduate to talking to people on Skype. Someday…

Mi a kedvenc konyvod? Mi a kedvenc dalokod?
(How do u say this right? Is it not: dalok + od?)

Szereted a fánkot? Miféle fánkot? Csokoláde vagy krémmel töltött? (krémmel töltött = cream-filled?)

Olasz, spanyol, francia és orosz nyelveket Szeretem. Mi a nyelv szereted?

Kertészkedni szeretem. Tavasz és ősszel kedvenc évszakak vannak. Mi a kedvenc hobbi? Mi a kedvenc évszaka?

Mi a kedvenc konyvod? => értesz "könyved" (your book)?
Néhány szót értem a daljukiben (ban?)

Ukranjna (?) és spanyolot tanultam de most elfelejtettem.

Egy nagy kerted van? A kertemben aromás fűszernövények vannak - szeretem főzni velük.
A szabad időmben, szeretem dolgozni a honlapam, biciklizni és klarinettal játszani. és te?

Mi a kedvenc könyved? Mik a kedvenc dalaid?
Szereted a fánkot? Miféle fánkot? Csokoládé vagy krémmel töltött?

Olasz, spanyol, francia és orosz nyelveket szeretem. Melyik nyelvet szereted?

Kertészkedni szeretek. Tavasz és ősz a kedvenc évszakaim vannak. Mi a kedvenc hobbid? Mi a kedvenc évszakod?

könyvek = books

dal = song
dalaid = your songs

melyik nyelv = which language

mi ez a dolog? = what is this thing?

Words like what or who also have plurals.

dalok = songs

You put "is" after the thing it refers to and since it refers to "én" as in "I as well/I too" the pronoun has to appear.

Ezt a nehéz nyelvet könnyű tetted.

én tettem = I made/I put
te tetted = you made/you put
ezt könnyűvé tetted = you made this easy

When something transforms or turns into something you add vá/vé.

varázslóvá váltam = I turned into a magician.
széppé tetted ezt a házat = You made this house beautiful.
rondává vált a ház = The house became ugly.

So for example with tenni/válni you use vá/vé.

én nagy vagyok = I am big
te nagy vagy = you are big
ő nagy = he is big (no "van" for ő)
mi nagyok vagyunk = we are big
ti nagyok vagytok = you are big
ők nagyok = they are big (no "vannak")
Hogy fogok csinálni kesőbb? :doggy:

Nem kell sietni, van idő. Szépen és lassan és biztosan. :yep:

Vagyis, miért PASO mond: "Budapest, te csodás" ? és nem "Te csodás vagy"?

Balszerencse.

Exception for the sake of sounding good. It's like saying in English "America, you beautiful!!!!".

Igazad van. De itt, nincs semmi szép. Csak ez a magyar fórum megéri. Nem értem miért.

Nekem pedig jó hely angolul gyakorolni. :silly:

Ok… How do you say touch?

Like I touch the door.
I touch your hand.

The internet says 'érintés'. or 'megérintem'.

So, Az ajtót megérintem. ?
Kézed megérintem.

Szia,
I am not the specialist at all, just a poor A1, but do you skip accusative for some reasons? :hmm:

Zenét figyelom/hallom
And shouldn't you have indefinite here (hallok) if your music is undefinite (no "a zenét")?
but : a zenét hallom :?:

But indeed, I am not sure of my judgment :) just being learner too 8-)

érintés = touch (noun)
az érintés = the touch (noun with article)

érinteni = to touch
megérinteni = to touch

Az ajtót megérintem = I touch the door
Kezed megérintem / Kezedet megérintem = I touch your hand

kéz = hand
kezek = hands
kezem = my hand

The "é" in kéz turns into an "e" when you add endings.

Maybe she hasn't learnt that yet

Zenét figyelek/hallok

A zenét hallgatom = I listen to the music
A zenét hallom = I hear the music
Zenét hallgatok = I listen to music
Zenét hallok = I hear music

If there is a possessive ending then the Accusative one is optional.

So both "kezed" and "kezedet" are okay right now.

Hey, great, I didn't know that, I still stubbornly said "kezedet".
Which one is more natural then, "kezedet" or "kezed"?
:oops:

Szerintem mindkettő egyformán természetes.

I think both sound equally good.

PS: Almost forgot, this does not apply for the 3rd person.
For the 3rd person you cannot leave the Accusative out.
