Web: yep, perhaps even more often than the Hungarian equivalent which would be "(világ)háló" [ˈvila:kha:lo:].
Net: definitely.
Game: speaking of videogames you might hear this but it's not very likely. It's verbal form however is fairly widespread among youths - "gamel" [geːmɛl] ~ "to play a videogame".
Portal: its Hungarianized form, portál [ˈportaːl], is used to mean a "news portal", for example.
Forum: fórum [ˈfoːrum]. No alternative.
Login: young people familiar with computers will probably understand but won't often use it. In Hungarian: bejelentkezés [ˈbɛjɛlɛntkɛzeːʃ](noun) / bejelentkezik [ˈbɛjɛlɛntkɛzik] (verb)
Ban: will be understood by gamers. Non-gamers would most likely go with kitiltás [ˈkitiltaːʃ] (noun)/kitilt [ˈkitilt] (verb).
Job: nope, never heard a Hungarian use this word not counting pretentious dickheads who go to, say, the States for a month and then act like they no longer speak Hungarian for want of "practice". You will most often hear "munka" [ˈmuŋkɒ] (unmarked word for "job/work") or "meló" [ˈmɛloː] (somewhat slangish but not vulgar) instead.

Thanks a lot, very good explanation.

I am quite surprised that job is not used in informal or slang talk.

In Czech we use it quite often as informal word even older people use it. It has its own form in our language "džob" where dž sounds exactly same as j in job. But both forms job and džob are understood in the population. It was used even in the years of socialism as informal word used when talking with your family, friends or people your age. But it has to be used the right way in other case it might sound weird.

Again thanks for your very good explanation. :)

As far as the job word is concerned, I have heard it as the part of "job interjú" (job interview :D).I guess it' s an existing hungarian expression, but wouldn't bet it :hmm: Sure not too common.

Igen, köszönöm szépen Kenny. "meló", most én emlékszem rá. Ez mint "curro" spanyolul.
