Can anyone recommend a good textbook for learning Malay? I am using TY Malay right now and I don't really like it.
Terima kasih!

TY is okay but it focuses too much on tourist situations. It's almost like a phrasebook. Also the dialogs are really long so it's hard to memorize them, they are probably just meant as listening practice. The exercises could be longer and more in depth. I would also like more detailed grammar explanations. They often introduce new grammar points but don't really tell you when to use it, just that it is used in Malay and you should be able to recognize it. It's okay for a start, but I was hoping for something that takes you a bit further.
