Chatta dia Munda

Postby tommyhawkrock » 2018-07-30, 3:51

My mother’s grandmother used to use a phrase that sounded like chatta dia Munda. She never knew what it’s translation was but it was used in an expression of mild frustration or exasperation when my mom and sisters were not behaving properly. I have looked and looked to find this phrase with many different spelling variations to no avail. Please if anyone knows anything about this let me know. My mother really wants to know more exactly what her grandmother was saying. My grandmother was born in America but both her parents were from Norway. Thank!!! Melissa
