Postby Strigo » 2005-07-01, 1:49

Czesc!

Since I already got a book for learning Polish, it's so amazing! :D

I'm looking for a good English-Polish-English or Spanish-Polish-Spanish dictionary u could recommend me. My sister's bf is going to London so he could buy it to me.

Any names??

I have Larousse Pocket Dictionary, Polish-English/Angielsko-Polski. It's pretty extensive (though not exhaustive), cheap, up-to-date, and convenient. I don't know if it's the best out there, but it's good.

Prize? Is it avaliable in London, maybe?

It's $6.95, so I'd guess that would be about £5.50 (just a rough estimate). Larousse is a pretty big name, so I'd imagine it would be available somewhere in London.
