How about who you are and why you're interested in Polish?

Are you limiting yourself to the vocab in the textbook and workbooks/packets up to lesson 4, or do you use a dictionary, too, or do you also happen to know/remember some more Polish? I tried writing a text like that as well, but the First Year Polish vocab just doesn't cut it for that purpose.

I intend to try to stick to the grammar learned so far, but I intend to use a dictionary. And I might try to branch beyond the grammar a little too.

Oh okay. Do you want a different topic? Or does my suggestion sound okay?

I also took the liberty of uploading the first story I'm going to start going through. I have yet to decide on any auditory material to transcribe, but I'll figure that out by the weekend. These challenges can be fluid, and not necessarily tie it down to due dates and such. As long as I don get too lax on myself.

In the meantime, I'm going to start posting some exercises to Unit 4 (Lesson 5) later today. :)

For now at least, no pictures like usual. I'm at work, and can't take the time (nor have the resources) to cut them out of the pdf and attach them. I can give context if anyone needs it, just ask. :)

It should be jść in all the sentences of 5.F.11.

Also the first sentence in 5.F.11 is grammatically OK, but the word order sounds a bit unnatural for me for some reason. I would say it as żeby wczoraj pójść na film or żeby pójść wczoraj na film. Or preferably I’d change the meaning a little bit and move the adverb to the first clause: Byłem wczoraj zbyt zmęczony, żeby pójść na film.

EDIT: Oh, and in the final sentence na zajęcia, one uses the word zajęcia, I think, only in plural in the meaning of ‘classes’. Zajęcie is a proper singular for an ‘activity’ though, but you wouldn’t iść na zajęcie.
