Ok, I don't mind if you start now and I join you, or you can wait for me. Whichever you want to do. :)

Anyone wanna give this another try?

I'm willing to share resources. (For the express purposes of us having the same materials, not for pirating.)

So, I was a bit lazy this week, and I never got around to preparing the materials for the first lesson. I'll try to do that today and we can decide how much to do per week and whether to start this week or next after I get those to you.

So, I'm hoping you had a chance to at least leaf through the materials by now, Vijay. Even if briefly.

I don't think I could get through all of that in a week, so wanna do it a few "packets" at a time?

First assignment!

Packet 1 No. 1 through Packet 1 No. 8 (I'll abbreviate this to 1-1 through 1-8 in the OP and do similarly for future assignment postings.) We'll give a shot at getting it done by Nov. 4th, and if we ever need to adjust the amount we do and/or how long we have to do stuff, we can. I'm all kinds of flexible on all that.

I'll also note that anyone is still free to join anytime! All skill levels welcome! :)

EDIT: I forgot that the audio starts with the dialogues in Swan. We'll do those too. Maybe we should use the actual outline at the start of the Unit as our guide. So that would be Lesson 1 Sections A - C (as opposed to the Introduction section of the outline, unless you want to go over any pronunciation stuff in the Introduction).

I hope you're ready for your vocabulary quiz on Monday, Vijay! 70 is passing!
I also expect you to voice chat with me for me to give you a grade on the oral exercises/quizzes!

EDIT2: The audio material for Lesson 1 begins at 23:50 on Tape 1C, just for easy access. The material before hand is optional and mostly pronunciation exercises.

Just like the Irish study group, I'll post my answers to the exercises as I do them, rather than wait and post them all at once, like a certain someone.

No names shall be named, to chastise the guilty.

This exercise would be rather limited if I just want off the vocabulary presented so far in Swan and the workbook. I used a dictionary to branch out a bit. The thing I can't remember is what form of the adjective to use when you want to say something like " The man is tall" rather than "The tall man is....."

EDIT: Fixed my answers, based on the below answer from Linguoboy.
EDIT2: Fixed instrumental case in 1. (Which technically I haven't learned yet, but it's good to know regardless. :P )

I thought Polish was one of those languages where predicate adjectives had to agree in gender (incl. animacy) and number (and predicate nouns were in the instrumental).
