I have encountered words such as "Przyszedlszy" or "Napisawszy". What does it mean to add the endings "wszy" or "lszy"?

The words ending in -wszy, -łszy are participles. Their meanings correspond to the meanings of the English "having + past participle" expressions. For example:
skończyć + -wszy => skończywszy = having finished

Skończywszy posiłek, Jan wyszedł z restauracji
Having finished his meal, Jan left the restaurant.
