Are these translations correct?

Postby Zeiterius » 2011-07-31, 11:33

Hey guys. I just started learning Esperanto through an email course and Lernu! So i had to do some translations. I just want to know if they are correct, because i'm in doubt if i should put -n on the objectives (If they are objectives):

Sixty minutes are one hour. = Sesdek minutoj estas unu(n?) horo(n?).
Twenty-four hours are one day (and night). = Dudek kvar horoj estas unu(n?) tago(n?).

If there are other mistakes then please tell me :D Thank you for your time.

It's correct without -n:
Sesdek minutoj estas unu horo.
Dudek kvar horoj estas unu tago.

Unu never takes -n (*unun is not correct). And you don't use the accusative here, because unu horo/unu tago is a predicative and not an object (esti is not an action).
