Kiu auxskultis sian amikon? Mankas subjekto cxi tie.
tradkuko: Her friend listened very attentively.
The subject is Daniela, which is implied from the prior few sentences. Namely;
Daniela lastatempe alvenis ĉe restoracio.
Daniela recently arrived at (the) restaurantKaj ŝi mendis salikokan miksaĵon.
and she orded a shrimp mix.Do, ŝi ankoraŭ estis maltrankvile.
So, she also was upsetDo, ŝi telefonis ŝian amikon.
So, she telephoned her friend.Ŝi racontas pri la raketo.
She told about the rocket.Sian amikon aŭskultis tre atente.
Her friend listened very attentively.I'm not understanding the confusion here...unless you're saying the
sentence should be: Sia amiko aŭskultis tre atente (making "her friend"
the subject and Daniela the object)
My thinking at the time I wrote it was who is the listener? That was "her
friend" so I considered her the object (ie. receiving the listening - so to speak),
and whose friend are we talking about? Daniela's... So, maybe, Amikon de
Daniela aŭkultis atente?
Of course, now my head hurts, I remember why I absolutely abhored and
destested English grammar in school (40 yrs ago), and I begin to wonder
why I would want to do this all over again now... especially on a Monday...
Ĉu Daniela imagas la raketon
I didn't add the "n" there because of the "la" preceding raketo.
