The dead do not suffer the living to pass.

I morti non lasciano passare i vivi.

The Rolling Stones are one of the best live bands I have ever seen.

Some people think TV will be supplanted by the Internet, but I personally think the Internet will create another kind of TV.

Many refugees, fleeing from civil war, already have traumatic journeys behind them when they arrive in Calais.

Anisakis is a parasitic nematode that you can get if you eat raw or undercooked fish. For this reason it's very important that fish used for sushi be frozen 24 hours before being consumed and that you always cook fish all the way through.

The Matrix is a system, Neo, and that system is our enemy. When you're inside, you look around, what do you see? Businessmen, teachers, lawyers, carpenters, the very minds of the people we are trying to save, but untill we do, these people are still part of that system and that makes them our enemy.

Hai perso l'ultimo treno. Allora, cosa fai adesso?

The only word that, as far as I know, doesn't have an Italian translation is "software".

:waytogo: )

Always make sure that the paper tray is loaded with the desired paper.

The paper used for the art of calligraphy can be quite expensive.

Society in every state ia blessing, but government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil; in its worst state an intolerable one (Thomas Paine).

Allora,
ital.: I vitelli dei romani sono belli
lat.: I, Vitelli, dei Romani sono belli,
cioè letteralmente in italiano:

We trust that the title of this edition will neither be thought presumptuous nor be found inappropriate.

Another branch of literary demanding special study was that of the magical and mystical writings.
