Lausemäng - Sentence Game

Postby Multiturquoise » 2014-05-31, 14:21

The next person will create a sentence containing the word in bold, in the sentence in the previous post. And then, the same person will bold another word.

* - I'm not good at Estonian, so native or fluent speakers, please correct others' mistakes including my own.

Ma tahan palju õppida eesti keelt.

See on suurepärane mäng! Ma olen teistes foorumites selle mängu näinud, ja olen alati seda mängida tahtnud eesti keeles.

Minu vastus:

Suure tammepuu ees tiiger seisab.
A tiger is standing in front of the big oak tree.

ja naljapärast, siin on vastus minu eelmisele vastusele:

Sportlase isa Bernard armastab šokolaadi.
The athlete's father Bernard loves chocolate.

You have misunderstood the rules.

You must use the bold word in the previous sentence in your new sentence, and bold another word in your sentence. You can also write the English translation of your Estonian sentence.

Me again:

Ma mõistan et eesti keel on väga huvitav.

Are inflected forms (e.g. huvitavad, huvitavat, ...) allowed?

Igavatel küsimustel mõnikord võivad olla huvitavad vastused.

Of course allowed.

Kas teil on mõni küsimus türgi keele kohta?
Do you have any questions about the Turkish language?

I suppose you meant "Ma väga tahan õppida eesti keelt."
Using "palju" in this sentence sounds like you are talking about the amount of Estonian, which feels weird in this context.

Kas sa enam rohkemaks võimeline ei olegi.
Is that all you are capable of.
Eesti keel (et) native, English (en) I can manage, Suomi (fi) trying to learn, Pусский (ru)&Deutsch (de) unfortunately, slowly fading away

Vannis ei ole üldsegi mugav magada.
