I find this a good place to use "-ki" suffix.

I think, swapping "sügavalt" and "mõeldes" would make it better ("Ta silitas habet, mõeldes sügavalt, millist toitu tellida."), this way it won't be ambiguous which action "sügavalt" describes.

I would say "Ilm jääb eeldatavasti pehmeks/mahedaks." or "Eeldatavasti jääb ilm pehmeks/mahedaks."
"Mõõdukas" is better to use for something (usually one-dimensional) that you can measure in some way, like temperature, strength/speed of wind, the amount of percipitation, etc...

I think in Estonian, "kuutõbine" is primarily used for a person who is sleepwalking or a person who seems oblivious to his/her surroundings.
For "kuutõbine" and "loll", I propose: segane, narr, rumal, arulage.

Kui me tunneme endas igatsust, mida miski selles maalimas ei saa rahuldada, siis tõenäolisim seletus on, et oleme teisele maailmale määratud olnud.

Suur aitäh! I tend to not think of adding the -ki/-gi suffix often enough.

Interesting. I have a book of idiomatic expressions (Irene Tiivel's English and Estonian: Some Idiomatic Differences and I've been using it sometimes to find interesting sentences for others to translate here. Anyway, when I posted "stay true to your principles" it was because I'd found it in the book. They had it as "adhere to your principles" in English and "jää oma põhimõtetele truuks" in Estonian.
Every time I hear the word truu (and also the word prii) those sound to me like recent borrowings from English. Since both words have native "Finnic" synonyms (vaba, tasuta; ustav, kindel), it just sounds wrong to me.
For some reason I have trouble getting used to (or accepting?) those words as Estonian. (I believe they are both pretty old borrowings from Low German though... something about them just *sounds* like they would be more recent borrowings from English to me!) My own preconceptions I guess!

I think the thing with loanwords is often that they have "wider" meanings, so you can slap them everywhere instead of having to pick from a list of very specific words that only fit to certain places.
Especially nowadays when other languages (especially English) influence Estonian so much and people are structuring their speech and thoughts more and more like in English.

I think it should be välja instead of väljas.

He enjoyed walking through the maze of narrow streets and gates.

Ta nautis kitsaste tänavate ja väravate rägastikus jalutamist.
