Hello!

Can anyone tell me what pirukatäidisena is (or what it means)? My best guess is it's some kind of bread?

Also, does anyone know of Lodjapuu (the berries)? If so, in what ways have you used them?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all! :D

Hi, Perovskia!
If you are still looking for the answer, then:

Pirukatäidis is the stuffing or filling of a pie, for example: Lihapirukates kasutatakse pirukatäidisena (or simply täidisena) liha. - In meat pies, meat is used as the stuffing/filling of the pie.

About the berries of lodjapuu - well, I don't remember seeing them myself in the forest, but I have heard that they are mostly used (like most of the other stuff from our forests :ohwell: ) as quite general purpose medicinal herbs (you can also use the flowers and the bark) - I guess mostly as tea. But of course you can eat them any other way you want - lot's of vitamin C.
Eesti keel (et) native, English (en) I can manage, Suomi (fi) trying to learn, Pусский (ru)&Deutsch (de) unfortunately, slowly fading away
