Do you mean the word 'day'? Then it is päev.

"Word of the day" seems to mean that every day, a word in Estonian will be presented to the learner, if I understand this correctly.

yes Jurgen, it is a typically british "game" if you wanna call it like that.

A pile of small cards and everyday you pick one. on each card there is a word and the explanation of it.

However i have been to apollo raamatukogu and they said they remember this "game" but it is out of production.

I asked a friend and she said she will help me, and we will produce a new "Word of the day" in estonian :D

I made memory cards game with Hungarian words for my clients, so they always have a word of the day :)
For me, yesterday, it was "kibe" :) We talked long minutes about the meaning of this, because neither me, nor my Estonian friend known the English counterpart back then.
