Ahtri ees, ahtri vees, ahtri mees? It's unclear to me as well. Your attempt above sounds as close as anything I could come up with.

Or why I couldn't hear the d. :mrgreen: I did notice that it sounded more like valged than valgeid, which I thought was odd before joone.
So now I wonder why kuldseid viirge is partitive while valged jooned is nominative? I think it's grammatically correct either way, but I feel like there should be more parallelism there. There's no reason for the two lines to be in different cases as far as I can tell.
