*I'm not advertising these products, and haven't even tried them. Just using ads to find new words "from real life". The idea of including photos of ads and signs comes from Riina Kindlam's articles such as this one in Canada's Estonian World Review (which I do recommend, by the way). Another thing she does that is useful for beginners, which I didn't do here, is that she breaks up compound words when she writes them, so she would write hakklihasegu broilerikintsulihast as hakk/liha/segu broileri/kintsu/liha/st, which some learners might find useful.

It's late and I'm tired, but I read this as pajaruoka = workshop meal and wondered what that could be before I read the translation and realised it's just pataruoka but in weak grade... :silly:

This one I guessed immediately what it meant, but the mental image the false friends gave me... :lol: muru = crumbs, niittää = to cut (long hay) e.g. with a scythe.

Another thing she does that is useful for beginners, which I didn't do here, is that she breaks up compound words when she writes them, so she would write hakklihasegu broilerikintsulihast as hakk/liha/segu broileri/kintsu/liha/st, which some learners might find useful.

This learner probably would've found that useful because I read robottolmuimeja as robottolmu-imeja and I was so confused when I tried to think what robot dust is. :lol:
