If that was a Greek word (it's not), at most it would mean "to talk about both sides", "to take both sides in a debate" (αμφί- 'both' + αγορεύω 'to speak').
It may be a portmanteau in French, e.g. ambiguïté + allégorie - I can see how 'nonsense writing' can be seen as an ambiguous allegory.
