The lyrics in the video are in both Paiwan and Chinese. You can ignore the former and just translate the latter.
وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ خَلْقُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلَافُ أَلْسِنَتِكُمْ وَأَلْوَانِكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِلْعَالِمِينَ۝
"And of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your languages and your colors. Indeed in that are signs for those of knowledge." (Ar-Rum: 22)

(My English is not so good. The other friends might provide finer help.)

vavayan 排灣女孩
Paiwan girls

排灣的女性們,都是受人讚頌的
The pajama females are all 受人讚頌的(praise-deserving?)

看到她們的人,都會說她們像百合花、月亮、色彩絢麗的蟲及彩虹
Those who have seen them will all say they are like 百合花(a kind of white flower,) moon, colorful insects, and rainbow.

百合花,形容她們的尊貴
百合花 says their dignity

月亮,形容她們散發母性的溫暖
Moon says their motherhood warmth

色彩絢麗的蟲,形容他們的美麗
Colorful insects day their beauty

女人啊!女人啊!女人啊!女人啊!

Thank you, linguoboy.

Perhaps "praiseworthy"? A word I have found in the dictionary.

When it is 受愛人讚頌的, it is then better coming to your translation literally-- praised by lovers. Perhaps you mistook 受 for 愛? They are quite similar in the appearances for foreigners.

I think azhong is right.
受人讚頌的 means praised by people. 受人 =\= 愛人

I would say women, not females :P

"The Moon" describes the radiant warmth of their motherhood -> I would translate more literally as:

"The Moon" describes the motherly warmth they emit.

Though I don't know if it's acceptable to use the word emit in English here.

Perhaps radiate is much more accurate?

Good afternoon, could someone please check the below translation is correct as I am looking to get it as a tattoo! Thanks

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
神啊, 求祢賜給我平靜的心, 去接受我無法改變的事,
courage to change the things I can,
賜給我勇氣, 去做我能改變的事;
and the wisdom to know the difference.
賜給我智慧, 去分辨這兩者的不同

That is one long-ass tattoo.

The Chinese translation is correct. But are you sure you want to put all these many characters on your skin? That's really too long for a tattoo.

People usually take just a few character (a phrase/saying) for that purpose.

Hello everyone.
For a project I'm developing I would need to know what are the chinese words that parents say when they are tickling a baby (not the translation of "to tikle").
By example in Norway they say: KILE KILE KILE! ; in Japan they say: KOCHO KOCHO!

I would also appreciate a transliteration of the words, and the pronounce.

Hope someone can help me, thanks!

Could someone help me out and tell me what this says? (Something about rabbits, I figure.) It’s a folding guitar stand, by the way.

Oh, and if you could retype this, that would be awesome.

Thanks!

Hi, everyone. I just started getting into Avatar: the Last Airbender. First show I've watched and enjoyed from Nickelodeon since Ren & Stimpy and Aah, Real Monsters when I was a kid.

Could someone please translate this into Traditional or Simplified Chinese? Hopefully both?

"As long as I’m confident with who I am, it doesn’t matter what other people think."

Thank you in advance.

It's the final quatrain of 木蘭辭 (The Ballad of Mulan).

雄兔腳撲朔
雌兔眼迷離
兩兔傍地走
安能辨我是雄雌

The female rabbit's eyes are bewildered.
Two rabbits running close to the ground,
How can they tell if I am male or female?"

I bought a rice cooker......

Postby Bulbtism » 2022-01-04, 9:41

Today I decided to buy a rice cooker, which has been a dream of mine for a while now. I wanted to use it right away, I even bought the homemade tofu from the store...well, than I found out that the manual is written in Chinese or Japanese, which makes it rather difficult to understand. Actually, I regret that the thing has that many functions. I nearly cried...
It would be very much appreciated if someone would help me out and include the manual in his or her daily learning. I would love to enjoy some well cooked rice today. It wasn't that cheap to put it into the cupboard or use it as decoration in my living room. My dog seems to like it though.

I hope it's readable, otherwise I will delightfully add the sections needed. Thanks a ton.

Just cooking rice with it should be simple. If you've never used a rice cooker before, just watch a couple Youtube tutorial videos. The important words to get you started are on the top of the appliance:

取消 cancel
保温 keep warm

煮饭 cook rice

开始 start

I found a translation into Simplified Chinese here.

Simplified Chinese: 只要我对自己有自信,我不会在乎别人对我的看法。
Traditional Chinese: 只要我對自己有自信, 我不會在乎別人對我的看法。
