Talking about theft

Postby paul_a_j » 2013-02-05, 10:21

Hi
Could anyone help me with how to report something being stolen, nothing has :-) but in Confidence Chinese Vol 1 lesson 13 you are asked to say something was stolen but does not have the verb to steal in the vocabulary!
To say something has been stolen is it like
我的包 ... 了
If so what goes where the dots are?
Also to say he stole my bag is it like
他 我的包..... 了
Cheers Paul

Hi, Paul
The verb you are looking for is 偷(tou1).
The answer of the first question is 我的包被偷了.
To say he stole my bag:他偷了我的包
Hope this is helpful for you.
Cheers duguxy
