Why was that so hard?
"that soviet country" could have referred to any former republic of the USSR or just any country which you thought has a "soviet" style government. (In fact, it was both.) There wasn't enough context for anyone to figure out which one you meant.
Why should anyone spend time googling around for what you might have meant when it takes so little effort for you to explain this? It's like you don't actually want anyone to respond to your post.
