Hitler was a quasi-communist himself right immediately after WWI, so I doubt his anti-communist policies had anything to do with genuine resentment against that ideology. Besides, come on - it was the early 20th century, any progressive or 'different' thinker or activist was essentially a communist sympathiser. It was only the ones who failed in their efforts, that they became 'commie-hating' opportunists looking for new ways to win votes.
