Thanks for breaking up my flow, Vijay. :P

The next two pages have other drills in which you are given a word or two, or a sentence structure and are asked to either form a sentence or swap out a word. They give y6ou examples of what they are looking for (called 例 れい)at the start of every drill.

The next page has short dialogues in which you are asked to swap out a word or phrase. (Usually a word.)

Sorry.

Why are all your pages upside down? :P

If you have any questions on any specific parts, let us know. I just wanted to give you a complete run down, you can go through the lessons however you'd like. It'll start making a ton more sense once you start learning the vocabulary, which I recommend being step one.

No, it displays like that on the website for me too, but the pictures display right side up on my picture viewer on my PC.

Yeah the same thing happens for me too. I'm on my phone and all the images are upside down in the post, but when I click on them, the full size is right side up.

Thanks for all that explanation. I understood the first 3 examples (with the grammar, sentence examples and dialogue) but got lost on the rest.

Where is the vocabulary listed? And for the dialogues, where is the audio?

The vocabulary is in the English translation...I guess they didn't really see a reason to include a monolingual vocabulary list.
And for the dialogues, where is the audio?

I'll PM you. There is audio and also video! :)

I'm hoping you guys have the full audio, like I do, that goes through the example sentences, drills and such. I think that would help dEhiN greatly as well.

Ok, that pisses me off! I just went to post something, and I got booted out and had to log back in. In the process I lost my post! :x

Anyway, back to my thought:

I was thinking of things, and how it can be a long slog to get through a textbook. I like to test out an idea and see how it goes. I thought to start it here because you guys are the ones in most of my other study groups. :P If we like it, chances are it'll roll out to other study groups I'm a part of. :P

How do you guys feel about every so often taking a week to work on some sort of optional group exercise. [Optional as in you truly don't have to do it, and can do whatever you want during this week; including, but not limited to, taking a break.] I think this will hopefully inject some fun into the study, and give us a chance to stretch and reduce the chance of burning out. The object for the exercise is, for example, to find something at the current group level (or easier) to translate. This is just an example, so we are not limited to just translation work. It's not meant to necessarily be a challenge. If we picked a story to translate, it would be something like the second story I posted in my personal thread.

What do you guys think about this idea? And if you like it, how often/when would you like to see it?

And more importantly, did that make sense?

Sorry to hear about your post getting eaten up, but sure, it sounds good to me! How often would you like to do that? Every other week?
