Japanese Sentence Game

Postby modus.irrealis » 2014-09-28, 20:06

I thought I'd start the sentence game in this forum as well, to see if it catches on. The basic rule is that you write a sentence with one word in bold, and then the next person has to write a sentence using that word, while putting a new word in bold.

To get us started:

今日新車を買った

I have a question. Does the word have to have the same form (in particular, verbs)? You've bolded 買った, but can we also have other forms like 買う、買える、買わない еtc?

Yeah, those would be fine. I think for the purposes of this game, it's better if all inflected forms of a verb are considered to be the same word.
