* Oddly, in the 1st person singular imperfect, the preferred word used is "vroiam" instead of "vream". The native person I questioned just said that's the way it is, that's what people say... (Is 'vream' as 1st person sing. imperfect ever used? and in what context?)

I have another question. Which syllable is stressed in the words which end in -bil (amabil, lăudabil, audibil...) Is it always the syllable before -bil?
AMÁBIL, -Ă, amabili, -e, adj. Prietenos, binevoitor; politicos. – Din fr. aimable, lat. amabilis.
LĂUDÁBIL, -Ă, lăudabili, -e, adj. Care este vrednic de laudă. [Pr.: lă-u-] – Din lat. laudabilis.
AUDÍBIL, -Ă, audibili, -e, adj. Care poate fi auzit. [Pr: a-u-] – Din fr. audible, lat. audibilis.
I bought a Romanian newspaper, namely Diaspora românească, and I'm reading it. I also learn grammar from the grammatical appendix of my dictionary8)

Metaforic wrote:Also, for the 3rd person singular the form is identical to the present tense "el vrea" (the difference is made in speech "el vre-A" (2 syllabes) vs. "el vreA"(1 syllabe, diphtongue) ) but in written language this is confusing
