Resources (textbooks)?

I'm interested to start Romanian. There isn't much available at all - thinking of the TY and Colloquial options.

What do you think? Is there anything else?

I have Discover Romanian by Botoman. I also have had Colloquial Romanian, but I tend to like DR better. It's a decent textbook, and probably one of the better ones for Romanian IMO.

I was gonna get that one, but I was a bit hesitant because it lacks audio. However, the TY format in recent books tends to kind of annoy me, so I'm more than happy to get an audio supplement elsewhere.

How far have you gotten with Romanian? How do you find it?

There actually is audio for DR. And it's listed on Amazon (not sure what your shop of choice is). Or at least it was last time I looked a few months ago.

As for how far I've gotten, regrettably nowhere. It's on hold for a while.
