How would you translate...

Postby Tehanu » 2014-10-21, 17:28

Hi!

How would you translate a phrase: 'Voi vittu, voi vittun vittu. Voi vittun vittun vittu' ? It comes from Susanna Alakoskis book 'Svinalängorna' - a man is irritated because of cat's fur appearing everywhere in his home and he swears in this way.

And the second phrase: 'Voi saatanan saatana' - it's said by a woman, when family's dog gets stuck into a pipe.

You can translate this in English, Swedisch or Polish - I'll be very gratefull having these phrases translated in any of these languages;)

"Voi vittu, voi vitun vittu. Voi vitun vitun vittu" = "Oh fuck, oh fucking fuck. Oh fucking fucking fuck."

"Voi saatanan saatana." = "Oh satan's satan."

Thank you Keltane! I expected that it's something more like a full meaning ( ''Fuck off your fucking motherfucker'' or so ;))
