How about bands like Kotiteollisuus and Maj Karma? Don't know them that well myself, but been listening to the former band somewhat much lately. Maj Karma I just listened to today, due to it being suggested from a Kotiteollisuus song. Recognised the song from radio, though.

There is such a wide variety of music in Finland that it's hard to choose. I listen to many types of music, since getting into Aki Kaurismäki, I have started listening to tango music, the one that stands out to me is Sabina by Veikko Tuomi whic I heard in the film Pidä huivista kiinni Tatjana. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gexeh_0XwCA
