Nebo v almazah (Gorod 312) song-I need to get those lyrics!

Postby Strigo » 2005-05-02, 23:51

Hi!

I listened to the song Nebo v almazah from Gorod312 and it's really good, but I can't find its lyrics. Would you Russian speakers help me to find it please???

I can only remember one sentence from the chorus :

Ja khachu zvjozdy rukami dastat'

Help!

I tried to translate it, but I need someone to correct my translation and clear my doubts... It wasnt really easy to understand! It really seems like a beautiful song, I'll look for it!

Behind the glass the summer starts to swing on thin legs
regardless of obstacles the heart started to hammer, it let go during the run
Catch up (?), if you can offer something else
To the poor heart....
Don’t ??, I wont’ take you anywhere with me,
Shoot, if you don’t wish to know why.
Without problems, who doesn’t object, that let go steam
Better tool/remedy(?)

But I want the sky in diamonds,
I want to reach the stars with my hands,
I wanto the sky in diamonds, the sky in diamonds

The limits inflate(?) the city with the presence of ?
?screw – I include the speed on the same limit
For the first time I dont subdue – read on the lips:
I wont cry
To risk – this lottery – who will be lucky?
To realise – I run faster, until (while?) someone crawls
It’s possible to react to the refusal, preparing the fists
That’s not difficult
век живи, век учись, а дураком помрешь

Pleasures remain, so does the pain

it s difficult to find the proper word here, it can be either "overtake", "run down"...only native speaker can feel it....
Don’t ??, I wont’ take you anywhere with me,

don't be spread...it sounds strange in Russian also
Shoot yourself, if you don’t wish to know why.

Better tool/remedy(?)

both i think, as i dont really understand what they want to say....
The limits inflate(?) the city with the presence of bodies?

ЛИМИТА - is people from province who came to "conquer" capital city, its kind of bad word, i dont know english equivalent.
?screw – I include the speed on the same limit

ОТ ВИНТА - expression with meaning "come on" i suppose
Come on, i turn on the highest speed!
To realise – I run faster, [s]until[/s] (while?) someone crawls

It’s possible to react to the refusal, having clenched the fists

actually im also not sure especially about the last sentence, too much translations for сжать...

Wow, new word to me... I made a mistake with тел because I thought of bodies but then thought it couldn't be because of the declension... thinking the word was male gender  Now I realise my first feeling was rigth...

Clenching! That's the word I was looking for in English, so I think your interpretation is correct (or at least, it's the same as mine...) I just knew there was a word in English but I couldnt remember it! :)
