So modern Portuguese doesn't really have a way to distinguish "your" from "y'all's" from (theoretically) "his/her".
Whenever I use vosso, native speakers find it weird. :P

Yeah, because it's the vós form, which apparently is archaic, religious, poetic, or limited to dialects spoken in parts of Portugal, which is probably even weirder since you're studying Brazilian Portuguese. :lol:

Yeah, but that's what we use here.

Not the actual personal pronoun or the conjugations, just the possessive and the oblique forms. It's similar to the way people in Brazil use "teu" and "você" in the same sentence.
