How people say half kuna in Croatia

Postby Supreme Doc » 2018-08-09, 12:25

Hi guys,
I've been living in Zadar for a few months now, and I noticed that, when I go to a shop and i have to pay, for example, 10.50kn, the cashier says something like "deset kuna lipa", without ever saying "50".
Maybe i got it wrong, i don't know.
Can someone explain me this?

I think it's "deset kuna i po", that is, 10kn and a half.
