Hebrew learners' song - transcription request

Postby aspirantMaster » 2020-10-09, 20:29

Hi folks,

I need the complete lyrics - in Hebrew letters, not sound, and ideally with ניקוד - of the following Hebrew learners' song, namely:
שיר הימים של הקונצונים
(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0mRkXvKd644).

I intend to sing it (for) myself, and erroneous or incomplete lyrics is always essentially botch.

I recognize the Hebrew weekday names in the song, and some of the other words, such as 'week' and 'no, no'.
The rest escapes me. Probably contains a good amount of childish interjections and parental advice.

Can anyone here provide the lyrics as text?
(link to website, mobile phone photo of handwritten transcription etc.)

It would be too much trouble to add the vocalization, but you should be able to find the pronunciation of most of these words on the Hebrew Wiktionary. Feel free to ask here if you don't.

With the help of nakdan.dicta.org.il (an automatic vowelator), it was actually not so much work to add nikkud to the whole song. The automatic nikkud are usually not 100% correct at first, but it has tools that make manual edits to individual words very easy. So here is the correct vowelated text:

Note that the word וּלְמָחֳרָת is pronounced "ulemokhorat", not "ulemakharat". This is because the first kamatz vowel here is actually a kamatz katan, which is pronounced "o", not "a". The khataf kamatz (the vowel under the ח) is always pronounced "o".

Also, פזמון just means "chorus/refrain", it's not actually part of the text, which is why I omitted the vowels.

Good job!

A small correction though: חביבי has no dagesh. Mar Kuntz uses havivi which is Hebrew, and not habibi, which is Arabic and considered slang in Hebrew (both are somewhat outdated/not used by young people).

Ah, just listened to it again, and you're right! The first time I listened to it, I thought I heard him say habibi. I've corrected my post.
