Is צַדִּיק when used as a letter name the same word as צַדִּיק when used to mean "righteous man"? I apologize if the question doesn't make sense...

As far as I understand, the name of the letter is actually tsadi (or at least it was originally), but because of the close resemblance to the word tsadik (and because when reciting the alphabet it can get merged with the following letter name, kuf), it's mistakenly called tsadik as well. In other words: no, not the same word, but many people are confused about that.
Please correct my mistakes in any language.
