I guess other learners here may be able to suggest sites or other sources about Hebrew syntax and word order. I can just correct your sentences
Yaakov Eckert wrote:אני רוצה ללמוד סדר נכון למילים
i.e אני גרתי בחולון. שם בשביל הכיף הייתי הולך לחוף
First thing to note is that in Hebrew, adjectives come
after the word they describe, rather than before it as in English (which we've had to learn at 4
th or so...
).
It would probably be better to say, "I want to learn
the correct word order", which would be translated "אני רוצה ללמוד
את הסדר
הנכון של מילים".
As for the second sentence, בשביל הכיף is a colloquial expression so it's expected you wouldn't know it. Also, we tend to say הולך לים (going to the sea) rather than לחוף in Hebrew.
Good luck with your studies and welcome!
