How do you guys learn Korean vocabulary? I only have to hear a German or Latin word once to remember it, but I have to spend multiple hours just to learn 5 words in Korean. I use Anki, and write down the word and say it out loud many times, but I just can't remember any words! It's so frustating.

Also, could you recommend any ressources for learning basic vocabulary (like, enough to understand a basic conversation)?

Memrise is very good for vocabulary because it keeps track of your performance and lets you revise on words more often depending on how well you know them. For instance I'm doing this one and for each level I'm doing I write the words in my notebook with the meaning in English (and additional notes if necessary).
