Native Korean Podcasts?

Postby CiaoMei513 » 2008-04-19, 14:17

Im looking for Korean podcasts to practice my listening skills. Not podcasts for learning Korean, but native podcasts for native speakers. Note that I am a 17 year-old female so preferably something for my age group. Not news. I appreciate any help.

HI CiaoMei!
I would recommend Korean Class 101
There you can find lessons are voice blogs for free.
The lessons are taught usually by 3 people (2 native Koreans and 1 Korean-American) in a casual way. If you want the transcript and other materials, you will need to pay a little.

Their lessons cover a variety of topics, I'm sure there will be something for your age group.

This would be very interesting if one of our korean members could record some! :D
I'm not talking about our 선새님 who is obviously too busy with real life work but some procrastinating member who could record one or two to start with!
Of course that person will have to be a native speaker, we are all tired of hearing wannabe speakers record themselves for the uninterested audience...

In case you're still looking for Korean podcasts, I ran across a good one a while ago.

This Korean blogger has short (8-10 min.) introspective podcasts in Korean on her page. They're in the blue box. She is a teacher of Korean-as-a-foreign language. She is also learning English and Japanese, and looks like Chinese and Spanish as well. There's a lot of stuff on here page - just look around! :)
