Yeah, let’s move. I have to recognise that after the first week, I did nothing more. But this is because I spent more time with Hebrew. Though I also did some more lessons of Assimil Swedish (I don’t know if that counts for something in this thread
)
But I will try to push further this week, at least to lesson 4.
And you Vijay, how is it going?

I started Chapter 3 and haven't started listening to any of the audio yet.
Let me know if you want to know how to access the audio.I myself would like to try and participate in the Hebrew study threads more as well. Idk whether I can really juggle it all, but I'll try!

I am beginning with chapter 4. I am also trying to get used to the sound of the language by listening to some random radio station. Obviously, it was quite discouraging, and I reminded myself that I should stop to do this every time that I start learning a language

Sorry to interrupt the flow, but I had to:

By "stop to do" it makes it sound like you should do this every time you start to learn a language. I'm guessing based on the rest of what you wrote this is not what you meant, in which case it would be "I should stop doing this everytime..."

I actually interpreted what she said that way - that she should make it a point to listen to radio in every language she studies.

What about “I should refrain from doing this”

Yeah, you could definitely say that too.

Indeed, you could say either that or "I should stop doing this," like księżycowy said. Both of them mean the same thing.

I finished Hippocrene Icelandic; I am starting now 'colloquial icelandic' because Hippocrene doesn't cover the whole grammar (past tense...).
