I have to remind myself what the construction es gibt means again. My best guess at the moment is "there is/are", based on the context in the lesson anyway.
Ex. Im Hotel Monaco es gibt eine Tiefgarage.

This is weird, though. I'd think it should be Im Hotel Monaco gibt es eine Tiefgarage, due to the verb-second (V2) word order in German and most(?) other Germanic languages.
