Hello all,
I'm curious if anyone could give me recommendations for German textbooks written in Germany.

For example, I know of the Mittelpunkt series. Unfortunately it's only B1-C1. Anything anyone would recommend for the A1-A2 range? Or even better A1-C1? The more immersive the better!

Danke!

I've used studio d (A1) and Optimal A1/A2 before. They both kinda suck. But then again, I don't really like textbooks that are meant to be used in a classroom context.

I've heard good things about DaF Kompakt (A1-B1). Apparently it's aimed at adult learners and it goes at a faster pace... just one book covers 3 CEFR levels.

Wow, that does look good. Thanks for the tip Luís. (Also, sorry for the late reply!)

I've also found the Begegnungen series (which seems like a classroom textbook, more so then a self learner book, but I have some help here so it's possibility), and Grammatik Activ. My main problem with Grammatik Activ and DaF Kompakt is they are a little too workbooky. :P
