How do we write « sushi » in German? I was arguing with a friend, whether it's suschi or sushi.

The biggest dictionary I have doesn't list any words between Survivaltraining and susp.
But I've checked several web sites (like http://www.mr-check.de/, http://www.xipolis.net/ and http://wortschatz.uni-leipzig.de/. They all say the correct form is Sushi.

This is what the newest Duden says:
"Su|shi ['zu:i], das; -s, -s <jap.> (aus rohem Fisch [Fleisch, Krustentieren, Gemüse, Pilzen u. a.] auf einer Unterlage aus Reis bestehendes Gericht)"
There was no entry for "Suschi"

And, of course, it´s not Susi Sushi should be alright, at least any Sushi Bar in Düsseldorf says so and they are a lot.
