Hmm, I don't get it? She pronounces it in the song? "Soooommeeeer .. sommer og sol"

I don't think I can relate it to English, since it doesn't have that particular 'o' sound

I'm not good at IPA, but maybe something like /sʊəl/.

I'm not good at IPA either, but can relate it to the Danish transcription system:

Definitely under vokaler med læberunding, namely 'u'.

Interesting. It really sounds like /o/ to me, and since Danish is rich with vowels, are you sure it isn't something else? Perhaps some strange vowel, something like a mixture between /o/ and /u/? :silly:

Jeg synes selv at det er en slags blandning af /o/ og /u/, men nok lidt mere til /o/. Ved dog ikke hvad IPA'en ville være :/
