danish to english translation.

Postby xoqtblondiexo21 » 2008-03-04, 22:47

Hej bebs!
Skidt, sveske... Det kunne du da godt have sagt!
Kys

Formiko's translation is too literal and in many cases too off. :p Well, let me try

Hi bebs!
Yes, it's probably your fault this time:)
At least it sounds like you're busy... Almost gives me stress reading about it!
Yes, I'm still [working] at daycare.. And at the grill bar, cleaning at my mother's, teaching English at[/to?] my cousin 'plus babysitting' about 3 times a week at 3 different families. But I'm at least making money... They're just spent too quickly:)
I'm doing good otherwise... It's going just as usually. Our four-leaf clover, that I told you about, has grown to a ten-clover... It's just so great:)
A lot of amazing women!!!
And what do you mean, that you have other things to tell?! Well, I'm able to read, that you have a girl/boyfriend on Facebook... Too bad, 'munchkin'... You could've told me! Tell me, Tell me!!! Am curious, you know:)
Yes, you told me about summer school.... But I hope, you'll come for a visit anyway.
Be good and take care until we meet again!

I like Formiko's way-off translation "Certainly , it is displayed your blame that walk" of "Ja, det er vist din skyld denne gang". "Walk" - WTROFL!?

Hunef you're mean - you shouldn't blame Formiko; blame Google Translate instead

Mulder-21 is accurate enough, although with a few minor errors (due to slang):

Hi bebs!
Yes, it's probably your fault this time:)
At least it sounds like you're busy... Almost gives me stress reading about it!
Yes, I'm still [working] with social care.. And at the recreational/youth center, cleaning at my mother's, teaching English at[/to?] my cousin 'plus babysitting' about 3 times a week at 3 different families. But I'm at least making money... They're just spent too quickly:)
I'm doing good otherwise... It's going just as usually. Our four-leaf clover, that I told you about, has grown to a ten-clover... It's just so great:) *NOT a plant

Didn't correct grammar or anything else, just the two major translation errors :)

Dén må du like forklare lidt. :)
