can anyone help to translate this? might be a bit weird though..

Mange knus S

PS. Vi hoppede op på en grav for at komme ud – shit!!

I'm going to take a crack at it. I think I got most of it; someone correct me.

"I was by the churchyard on the way home from my job yesterday. Couldn't really find the places, possibly [det sted vi lå], but everything was beautiful and still. You almost should have seen it in daylight!
I see you play guitar - have played it myself for a few years some time ago, but have sadly forgotten most of it. I play piano decently though.
You were right about [Flugufrelsarinn]…
Many hugs S

PS. We hopped up on a grave in order to [komme ud] - shit!"

thanks, it all makes sense now!

Flugufrelsarinn is a song title in Icelandic so no wonder it was confusing.

I don't speak Danish, btw. Educated guesses based on Swedish.

good translation i would do it a bit differently though..

I went by the cemetery, on the way home from work yesterday. Couldnt really find the places, where we possibly were laying(this part makes no sense, neither does it in danish), but it all was beautiful and quiet. You should have seen it in the daylight. I see your playing guitar - I have played a couple of years ago, unfortunally i have forgotten most of it, i still play the piano though.

PS. We jumped up on a grave(maybe it should be Gravestone??/måske gravsten??) to get out – shit!!

About 'det sted hvor vi lå':

The narrator is definitely reflecting on something in the past, so 'the place where we were lying' could refer to some very intimate place, where lovemaking or something similar might have taken place. So it does make sense (to me at least).

And yes, in the final paragraph, I agree, that in this case 'grav' is synonymous to 'gravsten', thus 'tombstone'. However, in older days (at least in FO, where some places it still is), it was considered bad to step on a place, where a coffin was laying, so this is also possible.

ville have været bedre.
