Online learning options

Postby spananigans » 2017-10-07, 16:41

Hi, friends. :D

I'm looking into a few different options for courses online (Rosetta Stone, DuoLingo, etc.) and I wanted to know what you all have tried and how it went for you. I'm currently just above beginner's understanding in Spanish so I want to start somewhere past basic vocab and grammar. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Most things can be solved with more coffee.

Well, I've discovered Lingostan some weeks ago, a one-to-one learning skype based platform and I could be happier about it. Two reasons:
- are teachers and tutors (not qualified but natives) whi set the rates, not the web, so you can find really cheap affairs or more especialized and expensive, as you need.
- you can become tutor easily (you need to be qualified to become teacher), so you can earn some money helping other people to learn your language and invest that money in learning another language with othertutors.
The web runs smoothly. Great. I leave you the link: http://www.lingostan.com

Hope it helps!

A lot of people seem to find DuoLingo helpful (I personally don't really).
