I want to make her eat (into Spanish)

Postby keramus » 2015-10-21, 18:30

Hello everybody

I have a little daughter who is not willing to eat vegetables . I don't know what to do.
I want to make her eat them ( vegetables).
Here is my attempt:
Quiero hacerla comer verduras.
Quiero hacerla comerlas.

Are these sentences correct?
If they are not, what would a native speaker suggest?

Thank you in advance.

Both sentences are gramatically correct, but only the first one sounds right; the second one is cacophonic because of the accumulation of clitic pronouns.

Otras alternativas correctas serían:
Some other correct alternatives would be:

- Quiero hacer que coma verduras. / Quiero hacer que las coma.
Dir la veritat sempre és revolucionari.
