Mājās man ir kaķis (cat), gulta (bed), galds (table), un dators (computer). Bet man nav suņa. (But I don't have[man nav] a dog) Suns = dog, genitive = suņa.
Sveiki!
Is man/tev/etc. nav always followed by genitive?
Man/tev/etc. ir is followed by nominative right?
Logically, the genitive singular form of suns would be sunya, just as Zorba wrote, but according to a Latvian conjugator it is suns as well. Is it an exception?
Paldies!
