Plural of "lentil"?

Postby lama su » 2017-04-30, 8:35

Simple question: what is the plural of "lentil" - عدس ?

I know it is usually used in the singular, as a collective, what what if you had to make a plural?
Would it be 3adsūn?
or would it be a broken plural, and if so, how would it be vocalised?

عدس is a collective ("lentils") and is always plural. To make it singular, it would be عدسة ("a lentil").
Please correct my mistakes in any language.
