I have a phonological question, or better a phonetic survey for every Arabic native speaker here:
how would you utter the sound of //a// (or orthographically speaking a فتحة) in isolation (no glottal stops/همزات surrounding it, just the vowel on its very own)?
Please, feel free to transcribe it phonetically, link a voice recording, or both.
I hope some of you guys find my request worth answering.
