I read الارنب والفيلة . I was a bit confused about singular/plural nouns in the story. Confusingly, it turns out فيلة is the plural of فيل , exactly the opposite of collective/singular pairs like تمرة/تمر or نحلة/نحل .

So now I get to read all eight parts of الاسد والثور. Hoo boy!

I finished reading and listening to the first part, though.

I read الارنب والطائر والقط . I think the word أسمعمكا almost at the end of the story is a typo and should be أسمعكما .

Edit: I also read الحية وملك الضفادع .

I read and listened to part 2 of الأسد والثور (days ago when I actually wrote this post and saved it as a draft, sorry :P), but I'm confused by this sentence: و من عاش وكان من أهل الفضل والمال فإنّ عمره طويل وإنْ كان قصيراً. Does it mean something like 'Whoever lives and was among the rich and superior lives long even if their life was short'?"

Also, what does لا يسلم منها الا قليل mean? 'No one is safe from them except small ones'?
