Somtimes this is a bit difficult for me, because Latinamerican Spanish don't use Vosotros sois (Vosaltres sou), we say Ustedes son instead.

Btw, what's with 'esser' and 'ser'? Two names for the same verb?

Yes, no stress on 'estan', because it ends in -an You'll see that when we learn accentuation

'ésser' is the polite form, 'ser' is the informal one, I think.
